At $1 Million and up in Miami, you are generally choosing between location and condition: an older home in the best position, or a newer home a street or two back. Coconut Grove, Bay Point and the Venetian Causeway islands offer dockage with direct Biscayne Bay access; Brickell and Edgewater are condominium markets on the water.
Remember that the purchase price is only part of the number.
