Lighthouse Point is a small, almost entirely residential city built around a grid of wide, deep canals — a boater's town with its own police department and a strong community feel.
At $2 Million and up in Lighthouse Point, you are generally choosing between location and condition: an older home in the best position, or a newer home a street or two back. Nearly every home sits on water with quick Hillsboro Inlet access and no fixed bridges. Canal width matters here: the outer basins handle large yachts comfortably, while interior canals suit 40- to 55-foot boats.
