Mega Yacht — Fort Lauderdale, FL Real Estate

Fort Lauderdale, FL real estate for mega yachts — active waterfront listings whose listing states 200 feet or more of dock, slip or dockage, the preliminary screen for a mega-yacht berth.

Fort Lauderdale is the center of the South Florida yachting world — more than 165 miles of navigable canals, a downtown that has filled with new towers, and beach neighborhoods that still feel residential.

Ocean access is not one thing here. Homes east of the Intracoastal on Las Olas Isles, Seven Isles, Idlewyld and Harbor Beach reach Port Everglades with no fixed bridges, which is what a 70-foot-plus yacht requires. West of the Intracoastal and along the New River you trade bridge clearance for lot size and value, and the difference between the two can be several million dollars on otherwise similar houses.

A mega yacht of 200 feet or more changes the search completely. Only a handful of Fort Lauderdale properties state dockage at that scale, concentrated in Harbor Beach, Las Olas Isles, Seven Isles and along the Intracoastal — deep-water locations with no fixed bridges on the run to Port Everglades. This page keeps only active listings whose listing states 200 feet or more of dock, slip or dockage.

Stated dockage is the starting screen, never the final answer. A 200-foot vessel also needs usable dock length after side setbacks, depth at low tide along the entire route, canal and turning width, bridge clearance for the air draft, and shore power at the berth. The Dock & Draft Match tool on this site checks each home against your vessel's length, draft and air draft — every boat-size estimate is preliminary until verified at the dock with your captain and surveyor.
